Job Description:
Client Tax Analyst for CCB Tax Reporting will provide concentration on operational success while maintaining control standards and governance. The role will focus on department employees while also performing effective collaboration with our business partners.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
Primary contact for access admin - onboarding and offboarding employees, acquire access for existing employees, maintain RSAM, AMG and application profiles, maintain inventory of dept access
Serve as department custodian of records by enforcing adherence to control standards, certification, purge & tracking requirements
Maintain required access certifications on owned email inboxes, SharePoints, distribution lists, applications, etc.
Own manual file tracking, approvals and delivery tasks associated with delivering final product to Year End for tax reporting
The Client Tax Analyst will recommend and implement solutions to ensure all standards are met in the most efficient and conclusive manner. The role will also serve as a tax reporting subject matter expert to troubleshoot issues, partner with tax group on projects, process improvements and raise data quality issues for resolution.
Qualifications:
Three years' experience with Mortgage Servicing, Auto, Student and Business Banking operations is preferred
BA degree preferred
Requires two years' experience in workflow/process analysis and documentation
Understanding the business needs and processes of the department
Strong Knowledge of MSP, VLS and Recovery One is preferred
Proficient MS Word, Excel skills are required.
A familiarity with IRS, banking regulations and policies is preferred
Participation in multiple projects required, either as a participant, team lead or project manager.
A high degree of analytical ability and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop an effective communication plan around projects
Ability to track and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and accurately while meeting deadlines
Ability to coordinate the activities of other areas for department deliverables accurately and on-time
Ability to effectively utilize technology to resolve issues and increase productivity
