Job Description:
The Metrics team is a Shared Services utility in support of Banking Operations and associated LOBs in the business of gathering/collecting, consolidating, analyzing/validating data that is required to produce daily/weekly/monthly LOB scorecards and ad hoc reporting to senior management in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with business SLAs and best practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage resource allocation in line with business needs meeting deliverables with a high level of timeliness and accuracy.
Analyze trends and workflow to make appropriate recommendations to management.
Foster communication and teamwork. Coach and provide feedback to staff. Identify and facilitate
Identify opportunities to enhance the reporting reprocesses through strategic projects/tools.
Lead, drive and implement automation of current reporting process via available tools (e.g. SharePoint, MS Access, Excel VBA, Alteryx, Business Objects, Qlikview, Tableau)
Collaborate with different Technologies teams and global stakeholders to execute strategic projects.
Maintaining a high level of competency when reviewing data and reports, and quickly identify both issues; drive resolution with LOBs / management.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and efficient manner with global stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree (preferably a degree in Business, Finance or MIS).
5 years scorecard/metrics, MIS reporting or similar quantitative work experience is required using tools such as but not limited to MS Access, MS Excel, Dashboards, Business Objects etc.
People management experience with 5 or more years of experience handling MIS delivery, technology management.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), relationship management, client engagement, and influencing skill.
Proven track record in the following areas: project management, relationship building, global stakeholder management, process improvement, automation.
Good control mindset to ensure proper checks are always in place in all processes.
Can cope with shifting schedules, should show flexibility to be assigned to work on holidays / extended working hours on high volume days as required.
Numerical thought process. Meticulous attention to detail. Able to ask relevant question to key stakeholders. Able to communicate clearly with global business partners.
Results oriented. Able to deliver timely, accurate, thorough, and high quality work.
Able to work independently. Familiar with a global fast paced environment.
Having an experience and background in data science/analytics is a plus.
Knowledge in different statiscal methods and tools for data analytics.
