The TS Billing Operations Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV is expected to learn and be immersed with all the production sub-processes within TS Billing. These productions sub-processes include but are not limited to the following:
Revenue Feed Management
Billing Set-up and Maintenance
Ledger Adjustments, Write-offs, Cancellations and Refunds
Fee Liquidations
Billing Research and Queries
Project and Change Management
Responsibilities:
Learn the various systems/applications used, processes performed and reports being reviewed by the team; Understand how it all works and impacts the client's bill and other teams outside Billing Operations
Participate in all required training and apply learning to improve job performance
Deliver timely and process with accuracy, care and precision and aim for "zero defects" or no mistakes in work processed
Perform 100% monitoring of incoming communications and requests related to account setup maintenance, exceptions rates and exception pricing requests and other billing-related updates
Understand and consistently adhere to standard operating procedures and policies
Must be able to review own work and/or work of others to identify and correct errors and prevent impacts to customers' bills
Respond to inquiries and/or escalations received; Must escalate issues timely to management
Identify ways to maximize results and exceed targets; Recommend and implement enhancements and process improvements
Other tasks and duties that may be assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of working experience
Bachelor's degree required, preferably business or finance-related
Knowledge of Wholesale Payments and TS Billing is an advantage
Process and results oriented, adheres to deadlines, organized and prioritizes work effectively
Advanced attention to detail with proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Organizational and analytical, critical thinking, strategic and problem-solving skills; and ability to understand upstream and downstream implications
Flexible, quickly adapts to changes in the work environment, and manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective results; Self-motivated and able to operate independently
Works collaboratively, shares information and effectively communicates with team members, other groups, departmental management and/or partners in Sales, Service and Product, including regional contacts
Requires strong computer skills, including ability to use mainframe and common PC based software packages including MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Must be fluent in verbal, written and conversational English
