Perform hands on daily, monthly, quarterly, annual scheduled preventive maintenance equipment and attend client complaints such as building, basic electrical air-conditioning and air compressor works.
Assist in supervision of sub- contractor.
Perform visual inspection on chillers/air compressors and ancillary equipment
Using various instruments (i.e thermometers, pressure gauges, multimeters etc.)
To record parameters such as Delta P, Delta T, bearing temperatures, oil pressure and motor amperage to determine condenser, evaporator and compressor condition and performance.
Monitoring of air conditioning system and ensure that's it operating at optimum performance
Report/troubleshoot any unusual abnormalities observed during operation.
Prepares records and reports describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions
Responds to emergency service requests
Troubleshoots malfunctioning heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of the malfunction
Conducts daily housekeeping of equipment and plant room
Prepares records and reports describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions
Helps in overhauling and repairing of all chillers plant equipment to exchange technical information.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
Relieves off duty operator as assigned
Prepares written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.
