Key Responsibilities:
Work base: Cotabato City or Iligan City
Local, Fixed Term - 1 year
Responsible for day-to-day implementation, reporting and documentation of child protection activities.
Provide technical support on case management and cash-based programming for child protection.
Serve as resource person and technical expert on child protection and participation.
Provide regular monitoring and assessment, including submission of Context Monitoring tool in order capture progress and any changes in current scenario.
Prepare cash for protection case study documentation, activity reports; facilitates cash transfers to beneficiaries and other tasks related to cash-based interventions.
Monitor progress against program work plan promptly identifying any current or potential delays. Weekly reporting on progress.
Carry out transparent beneficiary selection in close coordination with other team members, local authorities, and target communities.
Conduct monitoring visits and follow-up meetings to local councils for the protection of children and school CP committees in covered areas to help ensure functionality of child protection structures.
Lead the regular monitoring of cash and protection activities in coordination with MEAL staff.
Comply with World Vision policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures
Represent WV in multi-sectoral, cluster coordination, and network meetings.
Manage relationships with project stakeholders and children beneficiaries (ex. Local Government Units, Ministry of Social Services, Working Groups, local NGOs, individual and family beneficiaries, etc.)
Forge partnership with religious and traditional leaders and other influential community members to support child protection and participation initiatives.
Serve as the project Safeguarding Focal Point, including the implementation of the following: Ensure project team and affiliates abide by WV Behavior Protocols and keeping required signed agreement form on file. Work with the MFO Child Protection Specialist in the Management of Safeguarding incidents (Level 1-3) Provide oversight to ensure Safeguarding standards on Visits to WV projects are met. Tracking and monitoring of CP cases Ensuring confidentiality of information regarding child protection incidents. Facilitate setting-up and implementation of Community Feedback and Complaints Mechanisms Ensure safe child participation
