The Chief Radiology Technologist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Radiology Unit. He/She ensures oversees effective radiologic services.
Responsibilities:
Updates policies and procedures of the unit
Maintains standards of the technical aspect of radiology safety and ensures accuracy and quality of x-rays, scans and the like.
Schedules work assignments of staff and coordinates with other units for the radiologic services received
Checks and ensures optimum condition of the equipment, recommends new ones, needed modification and crucial constructions to achieve good patient experience.
May perform the duties of a radiologic technologist as needed
Promotes a safe, positive and harmoniously working relationship
Prepare needed reports
Qualifications:
Licensed Radiology Technology
At least 3 years experience as Rad Tech for a hospital
At least 3 years handling a capacity of a Supervisor
Possess good leadership skills
Be able to communicate clearly, written and verbal
Organized and be proactive to the needs of the unit
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & the internet
