Education:
Master's Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
Experience:
4 years of supervisory/management experience
Training:
40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention
Duties and Responsibilities / Scope of Work:
Supervises the work of all staff/personnel engaged in Corporate Planning to ensure quality outputs;
Assists in the supervision of the preparation of corporate business plans and prepares the working papers for the participation of corporate positions and / or decisions/recommendations on specified policy issues or problem situations;
Assists the Department Manager; directs and organizes the work of staff/personnel assigned to conduct system surveys and research reviews, and synthesizes their work for the formulation of new or revised systems;
Assists the Department Manager; reviews/analyzes the monitored report of lower-level personnel on the performance of organizational units as input data to the Department's Corporate planning and evaluation functions;
Assists the Department Manager in the performance of its coordination function with the government planning and monitoring agencies;
Undertakes studies on departmental projects and on any program/project within the area of responsibility of the Department;
Supervises the formulation of economic and financial models for analysis and development of alternative policy systems/designs;
Produces appropriate guidelines and assumptions necessary for the formulation of plans and programs of each group/department and helps establish/organize a Corporate wide planning process;
Summarizes the progress of implementation of the corporate business plans and institutional action plans vis-à-vis established Corporate policies and strategies;
Supervises the work of all lower-level personnel engaged in the above listed functions and/or responsibilities and monitors the daily operation of the staff for effective planning and programming of activities; and
Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.
