This is a remote position.
My Virtual Mate is a registered Australian company that helps businesses with business process outsourcing. Our mission is to make a positive change in our partners' business, which ultimately helps them gain more profits, and grow their business with truly talented staff.
Our client is a US based business solutions company that uses a team based model to consult with businesses.
They are looking for a CFA to perform a variety of financial activities including in order:
1. Performing research and analysis, forecasting, building financial models, preparing reports.
2. Budgeting, assisting with financial planning, assisting with close processes.
The role will start part-time, and will scale up into a full-time opportunity as the business grows. The ideal hire is someone who can work Pacific time.
Tasks:
Performing research and analysis as required.
Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, business models, investor decks, reports.
Developing financial projections and building financial models.
Understanding key business drivers.
Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
Working knowledge of financial strategies.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, Oracle, or related financial systems.
Excellent communication skills, including identifying and discussing areas known and understood and those that are not.
