Chief Finance Officer
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO is responsible for the over-all Financial Management which includes financial analysis and evaluation of operations, plans, investments and new business developments, financial and strategic planning, financial health management and advisory support for other departmental and business managers. This role will likewise be responsible for supervising the Finance Unit and ensuring that the Finance Unit's duties and responsibilities are met. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible to provide functional leadership in order to manage the total strategic planning of financial resources, assets, working for capital and staff so as to achieve the operational business plan in the most cost-effective manner to maintain the sound financial operations of the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as CFO or relevant senior finance role. An international work experience is an advantage.
At least 10 to 15 years experience and accumulated knowledge to cover all or most of the following areas : Treasury, Financial Planning, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Financial Analysis and risk management practices is required.
With at least 10 years of management experience, 5 years of which preferably at top level management.
Preferably has a post-degree in business-related course.
A Professional Qualification and/or an MBA degree and/or a CPA or a similar degree is a definite advantage.
Prior non-profit experience with working knowledge of non-profit budget models, contracts, and regulatory requirements is likewise an advantage.
Possesses a highly developed analytical discipline and has consistently shown the ability to assess and solve problems under time pressure.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
With ability to organize systems to monitor administrative as well as project results.
With an entrepreneurial sense to effectively manage the organization's fund sources/revenues and financial sustainability.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and transmit his/her vision to partners and colleagues.
With strong leadership qualities, excellent management and decision-making skills.
With strong communication and presentation skills, specifically as it relates to maintaining the credibility of the senior/executive management and the Board and in working with international partners.
With ability to interact professionally and work well with others.
Exhibits strong work ethics.
Contract length: Fixed Term Position until October 31 2021 year based in Quezon City
