Job Summary 
The CEO is responsible for providing strategic leadership by working with the Board of Directors and key management staff to establish long-range strategies, operational policies, and maintain a strong financial foundation for the company. This role represents the organization and its values to the community, including building strong relationships with key stakeholders and leaders. The CEO must demonstrate an active commitment to the mission of the company and strive to incorporate its values in all aspects of daily work. This position reports to the Board of Directors. 
Responsibilities 
Provide vision and plan business strategies consistent with the company’s mission, values, and resources in collaboration with staff and the Board of Directors. 
Ensure strategy alignment with objectives. 
Oversee all business activities. 
Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies. 
Set the tone for organizations image and culture.  
Lead by example, motivate, and monitor the performance of the staff. 
Work with the organizations finance leader to make wise investment decisions. 
Review financial and non-financial reports. 
Analyze problematic situations, offer suggestions and develop solutions to help promote effective and efficient work processes and innovative programs. 
Keep abreast of the markets and industry trends and adjust accordingly. 
Build trusting relations with key partners and stakeholders 
Develop and maintain a positive relationship with key partners and stakeholders, funders, executives, staff and anyone who would have an impact on the life of the organization. 
Secures necessary approval for fixed asset purchases and leases, contractual obligations, and other matters or transactions requiring board authority.   
Attend board and key stakeholders’ meetings. 
Performs other duties as assigned. 
Requirements 
8+ years of successful experience in senior leadership, preferably in commercial real estate industry. 
Strong analysis, judgment and strategic thinking, including the creation of business and strategic plans.  
Exceptional communication skills, fostering relationships with the key partners and all stakeholders.  
Experience in marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures would be an advantage. 
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field.  
Thorough understanding of the laws and regulations governing Real Estate business.
