Job Description
Purpose and Scope:
1. Supports the Engineering Operations Director/Deputy Engineering Operations Director/Senior Engineering Operations Manager or Engineering Operations Manager for the strategic direction, administration and governance of the Engineering and Maintenance Department in his/her Community Mall/ Regular Mall/ Large Mall or entry level of Regional/Flagship Mall assignment.
2. Considered as the promotional level for Chief Engineer of a Community Mall/Senior Building Engineer of a Regular Mall/ promotional level for CE of Large Mall or entry level of Regional or Flagship Mall as Building Engineer.
3. Ensures all Engineering and Maintenance policies, programs, projects, and processes are effective, efficient and aligned with the established policies, targets, local, mandatory/statutory standards as well as overall business objectives of Ayala Malls.
4. Ensures that all EMD personnel comply with the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of Ayala Malls all the time.
Qualifications:
· With Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical is required
· Licensed Engineer
· Minimum six (6) years of solid years of work experience in electro-mechanical industry and property management
· With updated, full knowledge and understanding of local operations, regulations and codes
· With action-oriented mindset, focus on exceeding expectations and vision as well as integrity
· With experience in building, managing and developing effective and innovative technical teams
· With effective collaboration skills and strategy development with peers and senior leaders
· Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with leadership and customers at strategic and tactical levels
· Ability to cope, manage and handle multiple and simultaneous (volume) engineering projects
· Ability to develop strategic and innovative engineering solutions to commercial advantage of the Company
· Above Average proficiency level in communication, organization, critical thinking abilities and project management skills
· Above Average proficiency level in the use of MS Office applications specifically MS Word, Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Visio as well as other specialized software like SAP, CADD and others
· Above Average proficiency level in project management, planning, people management and leadership skills
