Working alongside Depot, Hydraulic Technicians and artisans, the selected candidate will support testing requirements. If you are familiar with instrumentation controls, monitoring and testing hydraulic instruments, we are seeking YOU! Your future duties and responsibilities: - Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. - Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. - Perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. - Analyze designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or a related scientific discipline and 8+ years of experience applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop or evaluate military weapon systems and experience in providing technical management oversight of complex projects OR Master's degree and 6+ years of experience - The selected candidate must have and maintain an active SECRET clearance. - Strong understanding, usage and software development of and in National Instruments LabVIEW hardware and software systems. - Strong knowledge of hydraulics principles and systems. - Testing of hydraulic components of the V22 aircraft (NAVAIR). - Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise. - Works autonomously and independently. #CGIFederalJob #LI-LB1 Skills: Analytical Thinking Communication (Oral/Written) Detail-oriented Engineering What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
