JOB DESCRIPTION
Communicate with crane/forklift operator, tugboat captain/oiler, truck driver and delegate work orders to evaluate the task required.
Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues.
Running diagnostic tests on diesel/marine engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions.
Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts.
Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts.
Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency sudden breakdown.
Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance.
Maintaining records of Heavy equipment parts inventory and serviced vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least College level, TESDA Certificate or Short Course Certificate in Heavy equipment (Crane, Truck, and Fork lift), Marine Diesel mechanical caterpillar or equivalent.
At least 10 Years of working experience as Diesel or Marine Mechanic.
Can drive articulated vehicle with non professional driver's license Restriction Code 2.
Must possess Pro-active work attitude.
Background in Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical system, under chassis and engine overhaul are expected.
