The Chief Accountant is responsible for the provision of financial information to management and the Board of Trustees through preparation, coordination and analysis of accounting data.
 
His / her duties and responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
Reviews accounting data and regularly prepares monthly income and financial statement for submission to the top management.
Analyzes and interprets past and present financial conditions and reports to management on all matters relating to revenue, expenses and return of investments.
Maintains accounting control by recommending policies and procedures of the department.
Keeps abreast with all current and new decrees, ordinances including but not limited to internal revenue regulations affecting the hospital operations.
Provides supervision and guidance to accounting team for personnel and service enhancement.
Collaborates with department in-charge on the preparation of annual budget in reference to current and actual budget for the year.
Performs other tasks as deemed necessary and instructed by his / her superior and / or the Board of Trustees.
