Chief Accountant (Manila)
Salary: P60,000- P70,000
Project Based: 6 months
Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday 8:00am- 5:30pm, Friday 8:00am- 4:00pm
Job Description:
• Check purchases and billing before preparation of Check Voucher and assigning of
Account
• Check and monitor employee Cash Advances for liquidation
• Prepares monthly bank reconciliation
• Check and review correctness and accuracy of monthly remittances of BIR
Withholding Taxes on Expanded, Compensation and Final Taxes
• Check correctness and accuracy of monthly / quarterly VAT Returns
• Ensure compliance to VAT and Withholding tax summary listing (SAWT) for BIR
• Prepares quarterly and annual Income Tax Returns
• Prepares annual Alphalist of Employees or 1604-C for BIR
• Issue employee annual Withholding Tax Certificates
Qualifications:
• Degree in BS Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
• Accuracy with financial statements for external and internal reporting
• Hands-on experience with manual bookkeeping and data entry
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and to tactfully handle high pressure and difficult situations
• Ability to prepare financial statements and other financial reports
