CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER (CEBU PLANT)
 
JOB FUNCTION:
 
The Process Engineer conducts process evaluation, standardizes and document improvements; supports the Supervisor in attaining the department's Key Performance Target.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts process developments; standardize and document improvements
Supports training of personnel on standard operating procedures
Supports company projects and requirements particularly ISO related matters, SGA and QCC project monitoring
Prepares daily and monthly production reports and diagrams from gathered data
Prepare all needed documents for the day to day production
Operates Laaderberg Foaming Machine
Quality checking during production
Documents all needed data based on the established quality forms
Process transactions and production confirmation in the SAP System
Reviews existing production data including lab analysis for inconsistencies
May be used as reliever in the absence of Production Assistant, Main and Secondary operator in any machine or process.
Maintain 7's on designated area
Analyze and conduct daily cycle count of raw mat
Test and perform Labscale of imported chemicals
Other duties assigned from time to time
Ensures that existing Company Rules and Regulation, Core Values, Safety and Standard Operating Procedures are being implemented at all times.
Participate in company productivity programs such as SGA and QCC.
Observe/conduct cleanliness and 5S housekeeping in the workplace in compliance to the Health and Safety Standards set by the company
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chemical Process Engineer in a manufacturing industry
Can perform labscale for foams
Inventory Management
Process analysis
