Job Summary:
 
Serves as the main contact person between the General Manager, Owners, and Business Partners, assisting in administration and planning, and supporting the store's quality image.
 
Job Description:
Conducts daily operational briefings and have the only access for voiding items in the POS.
Culinary Expertise: Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience preferably in a steakhouse showcasing proficiency in preparing, cooking, and presenting steakhouse-style dishes.
Menu Development: Proven ability to create and design innovative, diverse, and appealing steakhouse menus that cater to a range of tastes while adhering to high-quality standards.
Food Safety and Hygiene: Strong knowledge of food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation, to ensure a clean and safe working environment
Culinary Techniques: Proficiency in a wide range of culinary techniques, including but not limited to grilling, broiling, roasting, and smoking, to achieve optimum flavor and tenderness of steaks.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to food presentation, ensuring every dish leaving the kitchen is visually appealing and reflects the high standards of a premium steakhouse.
Team Leadership: Experience in leading and managing kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment, meeting deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes without compromising quality.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff, front-of-house personnel, and management, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the restaurant industry.
Responsible for adhering to local laws, regulations, and policies, as well as adhering to the BAMAKA OPC Code of Conduct.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience preferably in a steakhouse showcasing proficiency in preparing, cooking, and presenting steakhouse-style dishes.
Note: Applicants are encouraged to provide a portfolio showcasing their previous work, particularly highlighting their experience in a steakhouse setting. Demonstrating a strong passion for steakhouse cuisine and an ability to elevate classic dishes with creative flair will be advantageous.
