Job Description
Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
Ensure to prepare food in a timely manner
Inform wait staff about daily specials
Ensure appealing plate presentation
Monitor food stock and place orders
Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Strong background in Japanese cuisine
Strong focus on ramen specifically Tonkatsu ramen broth and noodle making
Experience in high volume is necessary
Good written and spoken English
Be able to work both unsupervised and within a group
