JOB SUMMARY:
This Position is responsible for the overall preparation in the dispatching of food in the kitchen, ensuring the right quantity in terms of completeness, timeliness, accuracy, and orderliness in each food in order to give the maximum satisfaction and quality to all customers at maximum profitability of the hotel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Meets and exceeds internal and external customers' expectations by providing personalized customer service and teamwork.
· Provide staff with the required skills training to ensure value-added service to customers.
· Utilizes one-on-one training skills.
· Monitoring service and teamwork on a regular basis and counsels employees and providing excellent serving internal and external customers.
· Meets and exceeds expectations of employees by utilizing leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction of direct reports.
· Prepares capex budget to review new equipment to ensure quality output and productivity.
· Maintains equipment in condition to avoid accident and costly repairs. Ensures smooth operation and maximizes operating life.
· Together with the chief engineer prepares a checklist and preventive maintenance follow-up.
· Delegates staff training to sous chef and ensures that proper training is given
· Ensured that stewarding department is wais washing equipment in proper way.
· Attend meeting in order to have maximum information and to have good communication with other f&b sections.
· Assist in the preparation of the food and beverage budget.
· Keep cost within the assigned budget to ensure profitability.
· Ensures hygiene and cleanliness all around the kitchen to maintain standard of food safety.
· Plans new menu and promotions to constantly provide quality choice of food in all outlets.
· Constantly improves quality of food served in all outlets to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Ensure that staff are scheduled according to business volume maximize profitability.
· Enhances staff relations to ensure high morale and efficiency.
· Maintain and enhances staff grooming and hygiene to reflect a good image of the department and the resort.
· Assist with food preparation as required
· Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all the problems usual or unusual matters of significance
· Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficiently manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
· Stays current with the latest development in the kitchen field.
· Maintains the favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
· At all times, projects a favourable image of Golden Sands Destination Resorts to the public.
· Performs any other duties and task that may be assigned by immediate superiors for time to time.
FLEXIBILITY CLAUSE:
· Be able to perform other duties that may be assigned by superiors
