A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a Channel Account Manager for Singapore. The Channel Account Manager is responsible for driving growth for the business by leveraging our ecosystem of partners across the region. This role will be based out of Singapore and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to grow a channel across Singapore.
Forcepoint is primarily a channel driven organization and as such you will be responsible for ensuring our resellers and distributors are enabled, engaged and driving opportunities into Forcepoint. This role works very closely with the in-country sales teams as well as pre-sales and sales support functions and you will need to be able to work up and down our Partner Organizations to be successful
Essential Functions
Deliver regional revenue targets by ensuring the partner ecosystem is fully aligned to Forcepoint's objectives across TIP
Perform all aspects of partner development, including: partner identification and recruitment, relationship building, developing launch activities, validating partner value proposition, assessing partner competencies, driving certifications, and managing incentives and benefits
Manage key distribution partnerships across the region
Facilitate engagement between stakeholders within Forcepoint and the Partner Organizations
Work closely with partner / direct sales, marketing, and strategy to design the go-to-market plan and drive execution of related activities
Ensure our partner channel is properly enabled through training and certification programmes
Manage DR process and partner sourced business
Implement and manage Forcepoint's partner programme and support MDF/rebate activities
Co-develop and execute partner marketing plans and events in conjunction with internal and partner resources
Manage regular partner cadence and qbrs
Leverage partners to develop and manage territory.
Find, identify, and close new business with partner.
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts as part of sales forecast process
Education and Experience
7-10 years operating in a sales based environment
5+ years of channel experience with understanding of TIP markets
Ability to communicate in English is critical. Understanding of Bahasa is helpful
Regional travel would be expected as appropriate
Self starting and comfortable in a dynamic and fast moving environment
Strong team ethic - we are a small interdependent team
Ability to think and present in a structured clear way, including developing business plans and executing across multi-functional teams
Willing to travel as appropriate (safety and regulation permitting)
Good understanding of distribution models
Understanding of the industry, key players and technologies is a big plus
Experience in selling business to business in an IT security company
A proven track record of driving and motivating the channel
Knowledge of sales of software or computer related products with emphasis on web infrastructure security
Ability to close business while achieving a high level of partner satisfaction
Ability to articulate a value proposition clearly and engage at multiple levels within an organization
Ability to present to external audiences
