Job Description
Change Management coordinator will support the Enterprise Fluor Change Management systems and processes. The coordinator will report to the Change Manager and assist in all of required process around change management. In addition, the Change Coordinator will be supporting the ticketing tool managing the process called Service Now or any equivalent ticketing management tool. Candidate must possess considerable experience with the ITIL framework and be able to apply those concepts within a practical real-world environment. The scope of this role will include advising as well as coordinating the design function, administration, and management
Responsibilities
Enterprise Change Management Coordination:
Work with internal clients/colleagues to understand and document requirements for Change Management policies and procedures.
Responsible for reviewing production system changes, be able to interpret the policy and apply it to changes and ensure that audit control is performed on all change records that require it
Run production support planning calls, review changes, assist in identifying contacts and various other calls as assigned.
Track and monitor change requests that fall under Data Center and Server Services authority
Ensure resource requirements are clear and work with required managers to secure resources according to service levels.
Ensure that each change request has appropriate supporting documentation for assigned releases according to internal service levels and monitor through review and approval stage.
Track and maintain any corrective action requirements and activities.
Ensure all change activity conforms to pre-established change windows or that proper approvals for exceptions are in place.
Participate in pre and post implementation reviews and audits on selected change records.
Provide coordination at an enterprise level for annual SOX audit and controls testing
Organize and work well across management, technology, development and support staff to ensure change activity is accurately documented and well planned.
At least 3 years of experience working with or exposure to change management activities
At least 3-5 years of combined project management and IT experience
About 5 years of professional experience within Information Technology
Proficient in Microsoft tools specifically power point and excel for metrics reporting
Individual must have experience with using ticketing tool such as Service Now or any equivalent toolsets
Experience facilitating Change Management meetings and assisting organizations with implementing ITIL/ITSM CM processes
Solid understanding of the major service and support areas, both from a technology and business point of view.
Strong negotiation skills
Strong knowledge of relevant applications, systems, networks and deskside areas in supporting change impacts from a local and enterprise perspective
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.
BS/BA in Engineering, Information Technology, Science or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience
This person must have an advanced level of knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, CM, and project procedures.
An added value if possess one of the following certifications: ITIL Foundation v3, or higher, or Value Based Lean Six Sigma (VBLSS)
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working in a geographically distributed and culturally diverse work teams
Must be able to handle heavy work load, communicate effectively and efficiently and work proactively
Must be a teamplayer with particular focus on the ability to work with people in both technical and business areas, and across multiple functional areas and business units.
Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule or rotational shift depending on operational requirements
Able to demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness acting in both capacities to identify issues and provide immediate resolutions
Must be able to handle heavy work load, communicate effectively and efficiently and work proactively
