Appoints and trains new accounting employees.
Prepares monthly and annual accounting reports.
Carries out the annual audit by giving information and answers to auditors.
Checks accuracy/timely submission/timely payment to BIR, Municipal Treasurers, SEC and other government agencies.
Checks the progress of accounting and financial objectives.
Makes policies and procedures to support the company's targets.
Keeps sensitive and important information confidential and ensure financial security.
Analyzes financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.
Provides regular updates to management regarding company finances.
Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Provides recommendations.
Improves systems and procedures and initiates corrective actions.
Coordinates, reviews and updates existing accounting policies and procedures.
Assigns projects and directs staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Meets financial accounting objectives.
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
