Finance Officer (Accounts Payable)
Reporting to: Head, Accounts Payable
Department: Controllership
Division: Finance
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creates purchase orders from approved requisitions as directed; prepares all necessary reports, daily, monthly and quarterly statements.
2. Verifies vendor statements and handle all correspondence involving accounts payable; assist in resolution of complaint between vendor and customer.
3. Prepares documents and checks for bulk mailing and maintain appropriate records needed to be categorized for easier access in searching files.
4. Maintains historical records for all accounts payable transactions recorded and filed systematically, periodically and simultaneously.
5. Systematically verifies and audit accounts for completeness and accuracy according to established controls.
6. Reviews of policies, procedures and controls covering disbursements from time to time and have advance studies for further change in accounts payables.
7. Does other related tasks as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Accounting graduate, CPA, preferably with external audit experience. Must have at least 2 years work experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
English and Filipino Communication skills in all forms: written, oral, and listening
Strong analytical skills
Experience in dealing with different levels within the organization
Knowledgeable in all areas of Accounting
