JOB DESCRIPTION
Category Supervisor - Data analyst provides instruction to direct reports about the Master Data activity based on priority level and ensures that all approved requests are accommodated and completed on a daily basis. Performs market research and analyzes big data, identifying consumer behaviors and trends. Make recommendations and provide
strategies based on analysis to increase productivity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PLANOGRAM
Work with the Senior Category Manager to come up with the most productive and effective planogram per category and store type.
Evaluates and reviews product performance, recommends improvement or upgrade of products based on collective data, gathered insights, and suggest exit plans or downgrades for unsuccessful products.
Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories.
Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility.
Cascading Planogram Project and activities to Branch Category Assistant Manager/Supervisor.
Coordinate and discuss the possible actions and recommendations, strategy and direction on certain issues and concerns related to Master Data raised by Branch Category
RENTABLES
Provides standard guidelines pertaining to the rentables at the store level.
Ensure compliance to standard at all times.
Checking and validation of Billing report submitted by Rentable Assistant to ensure the accuracy prior to sending to Accounting.
PLANNING AND ORGANIZING
Provide leadership to direct reports.
Analyze and provide insights about competitors' product display execution, techniques, and best practices and bring new innovative display concepts and ideas to our company.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree Graduate at least in the field of Business Studies/Administration/Management/Commerce or equivalent
An analytical mind with a strategic Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
With at least 5 years of proven supervisory level experience in a similar role, can handle and manage a team
Has an excellent interpersonal skill
Must have excellent Written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Applications especially Excel
