The Role
As a Cash Hub Head, you will manage the overall operations of Cash Unit in delivering productive service to both internal and external clients.
How you'll contribute
Evaluate daily cash requirement of branches' requests and ensure that CIV is maintained at the level set by Management.
Countercheck dollar/ third currencies shipment and assistance with other Bank, validate authorized representative and email payment confirmation and ensure accuracy before cash release.
Act as alternate ATM Custodian smart vista monitoring/loading and first Line maintenance of ATM under CCO to ensure that 98% ATM availability is met.
Immediately report armored car breakdown and behavior of AC personnel. For safety and to service DPU clients.
Ensure that the number of duffle bags brought out and brought in by DPU Tellers are being monitored.
Responsible for joint custodianship and access to vault with Assistant Cash Unit Head
Supervise the accurate encoding of cash deposit and withdrawal via BSP portal for approval of authorized bank approver. Ensure that BSP transactions are accurate and complete
Ensure that cash pick-up from Branches and DPU clients are complete
Evaluate and approves Late Vault Closure/ Excess CIV Limit/ Cash Transfers of branches within the locality to mitigate risks of branch/cash hubs.
Prepare required reports needed by concerned units such as BCR-ATM Loading, FLM. Excess CIV,Peso/Dollar Cash Flow, Dollar Swap/Shipment/CIV Exceptions, Scheduled Wathclisted Account, Billings, Peso/Dollar charges.
Provide accurate reports for the monthly performance of the unit.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
At least 7 years experience in Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, Information Technology
Have effective cost management skills.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties; Keen on details; organized record-keeping; fast and efficient worker (able to meet timelines with quality output); exhibits initiative.
