Be responsible for managing of Equity Trades (Brokerage and Market) for Cash Equities business across different Macquarie locations worldwide, particularly in the following regions: Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Business Responsibilities: Provide oversight on the settlement and delivery of EMEA trades facing clients and brokers Ensures all trades are settled on Settlement Date and follow up with Counterparty on failing trades Investigates differences between Macquarie and Counterparty discrepancies and escalate to Middle Office for resolution deals with escalations and approvals as required and maintain the key performance indicators of the team. creates and distributes timely and accurate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. works closely with trading desks, Middle Office and Technology Key Skill Requirements: hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics or a related discipline flexibility to work on different shifts and public holidays as necessary proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel attention to details and efficient in data processing ability to investigate issues and escalate them effectively self -motivated, independent and can work well under pressure strong commitment to completion and delivery able to multi-task and have excellent time management skills excellent communication skills and confident in interacting with people strong team player working knowledge of European settlement and market practices will be highly regarded but not essential About the Corporate Operations Group The Corporate Operations Group brings together specialist support services in Digital Transformation & Data, Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Business Services, Business Improvement & Strategy, and the Macquarie Group Foundation.
