About the job
Reporting to the Communication and Interior Design Manager, this ASSOCIATE role is tasked to support the Com&In team in securing high quality carpentry and paintwork throughout the store in a simple, safe and cost- and time-effective way. This will contribute to consumers' perception of the IKEA brand and the IKEA retailer as a high-quality and affordable home furnishing specialist.
Your assignment
· You implement the agreed Com&In/store action plan with a sense of urgency and an eye for detail in order to support the creation of a strong visual impression in the store;
· You reduce the environmental footprint and minimise costs by working consciously with resources and materials, and maximising opportunities to recycle and reuse materials;
· You stay up to date with knowledge about carpentry to increase quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Your profile
· You have at least 1-2 years relevant work experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably gained from the home furnishing industry;
· You are passionate for fast-paced, future-oriented retailing, home furnishing, people's life at home and the IKEA product range.
· You are confident in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations.
· You are flexible and hands-on, with keen eye for details.
Additional Information
This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements.
Temporary work location will be at the 17th Floor, No. 8 Rockwell Building, Hidalgo Drive, Makati City, Philippines.
