Position Overview
This opportunity resides within the Corporate Controller team in Finance. Working in an Accounting Clerk role, you are part of the Finance TELUS Internal team supporting overall TELUS Capital.
Proficiency with MS Office, with a strong knowledge of Excel and proven ability for attention to detail
A solid knowledge of standard accounting practices, policies and professional ethics
Working knowledge of SAP/BW Project Systems / Investment Management modules preferred
High standards of performance and able to provide accurate deliverables under tight deadlines
Strong customer-focused approach to problem/issue resolution
Ability to plan, manage and prioritize multiple activities while meeting deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Competencies:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting/Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work onsite in TELUS Araneta
