The Capacity Analyst provides IT visibility for optimized use of existing data center hardware and software resources to meet performance and availability SLAs.
What will your job look like?
You will:
Use your skills to efficient use the existing knowledge base and documentation for quick-win and first-level resolution.
Generate server and application hardware consumption reports based on routine production data
Compare consumption report results to important metrics, and provide analysis of trends.
Provide cross-site utilization and efficiency comparisons (storage and servers).
Identify anomalies in trends, and provide alerts if capacity growth requires planning adjustments.
Communicate monitoring results and trends analysis to technical architects and other IT partners.
Craft, implement, and report on security system and end-user activity audits; monitor server, application, and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity; interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution
