The Campus Minister is expected to:
1. Serve as co-facilitator of Grade 11 Retreats by:
Designing, facilitating, and evaluating the retreat's module content
Coordinating with the Grade 11 Retreat Team (the Grade Level Moderators, the Grade Level Guidance Counselor, and the Class Parent Representatives)
Providing the proper orientation for the Grade 11 Retreat Team
Facilitating the Retreat Team's evaluation after the Retreat
Preparing the Grade 11 Retreat materials, including audio-video equipment and soft files
Facilitating the Pre-Retreat Reflection Period
Preparing and practicing the students (sharers, commentator, readers, etc.) for the Retreat Mass
Coordinating the students' post-Retreat evaluation
Handling requests for and liquidation of Grade 11 Retreat funds
2. Serve as the lead Campus Minister in Daily Morning Masses (Tuesdays and Fridays) by:
Preparing the Chapel for the Daily Morning Masses (going through the checklist and ensuring all is set at the Credence table, checking the commentator's guide, and readying the sound system, servers, readers, offerors and musicians)
Serving as instrumentalist of the choir
Serving as choir leader
Ensuring that the day's offertory collection is secure, accounted for, and turned-over to the CMO Head for safekeeping.
3. Function as support staff during Schoolwide Masses by creating and running multimedia presentations during Schoolwide Masses.
4. Serve as support staff for the Jesuit Vocations (Meet the Jesuits) MTJ Program by:
Assisting the Lead Campus Minister for the MTJ in preparing all materials (i.e., equipment ) and gathering all soft files.
Advertising the MTJ Program via Social Networking sites (Facebook and Twitter).
5. Act as support staff for CMO online and on-campus presence by:
Providing materials for the CMO Facebook page.
Submitting proposed materials for posting to the CMO Head
6. Serve as support staff for Spiritual Formation Activities namely:
the Faculty and Staff Retreat
7. Take the role of support staff for any other Spiritual Formation Activity as requested by the CMO Head.
8. Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the CMO Head.
MA Degree in Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, Religious Education or Theology
With 3 to 5 years of work experience and exposure in:
Campus Ministry and Spiritual Formation
Recollection & Retreat Giving
Parish/Pastoral Work with the Youth, Family Ministry, etc.
Teaching and Administrative Work
Very good skills in:
Oral and Written Communication
Listening and Spiritual Accompaniment
Facilitation
Computer, Infographic Design, and Social Media
Recollection/Retreat Giving (online and onsite)
Organizing, Coordinating and Budgeting
Music, whether in singing or as an instrumentalist (optional)
Associate / Supervisor Education and Training Higher Education / Academia 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
