Job Description
Who we are looking for
. Minimum 5 years of experience leading reefer and dry repair operations of similar scale (500 to 1000 releases/week)
. Familiar with Maersk inspection and repair criteria and the related KPIs
. Knowledgeable on depot & EMR performance indicators
. High knowledge of cost drivers in a container repair operation
. Stakeholder management - negotiation and conflict resolution skills
. Ability to provide leadership, obtain cooperation and assistance to meet objectives
. Ability to make quick decisions with little information available
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the organization, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring the safety of all individuals within the facilities, acting as the ambassador of HSSE and adhering to applicable labor agreements and grievance adjudication processes.
2. Developing and executing the operational strategy for all managed facilities to achieve established safety, financial, and production goals.
3. Leading by example, adapting to changing circumstances, communicating effectively, building strong teams, making sound decisions, resolving problems, and developing rapport with stakeholders.
4. Maintaining appropriate professional working relationships with customers, steamship lines, vendors, the trucking community, terminal departments, and the workforce.
5. Using independent judgment and discretion to make important operational decisions and identify and execute real-time preventative measures as operational overlaps arise throughout assigned shifts and departments.
6. Communicating daily work assignments and equipment forecasts in accordance with the operational strategy.
7. Fulfilling all operational indicators, including but not limited to OOS, longstanding, efficiency, overstaying, and turn-time.
8. Managing staff, labor, and vendors to achieve established safety, financial, and production goals and developing the performance of key stakeholders through positive reinforcement, training, or disciplinary action.
9. Ensuring the highest quality EMR services across all facilities in Mindanao.
10. Collaborating proactively with stakeholders to reduce overall equipment handling and preparation costs and drive company profitability.
11. Participating as a key member of any steering committee for new projects, initiatives, and playing a leading role in defining project management strategies, responsible for timely deliverables of project plans.
12. Measuring and monitoring performance against critical criteria, policies, and guidelines established by the company and communicating operational results to the organization periodically.
