DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares work instructions, guidelines and packaging instructions prior to mass production.
Conducts dimensional, visual and functional evaluation of components from suppliers
Design and develop new components such as screw, spring, DST, polybag and packaging
Prepares Engineering Change Notice and monitors its status until its closure.
Assists the team in generating the following process documents: Process Flow Chart, PFMEA, Control Points and other quality documents as needed.
Assists the team in conducting product tests and gathering pertinent data as required.
Conducts validation and verification of data, i.e. cycle time, product weight, as per established Bill of Materials.
Conduct training to operators to enhance their skills.
Improve current manufacturing or production process to increase productivity, quality, and profitability.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduate in BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any equivalent
Experience/s Required: Minimum of 1 year experience preferably in a manufacturing set-up of plastic injection or related industry.
General Skills:
Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Analytical thinker with good interpersonal skills
Goal and results oriented, team player and able to work well under pressure.
Technical Skills:
Experience in process simulations
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
Knowledge in time and motion study, plastic injection process and basic plastic parts
