We are currently looking for a CAD Team Leader to join its growing team in the Philippines.
As a CAD Team Leader, you must have strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of design software. Communication is also an essential part of CAD Team Leader as you will work with other team members and departments to set timelines, and assist in making decisions regarding materials that will be used to complete the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
Collaborate with others to establish timelines, as well as solve problems.
Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials.
Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions.
Keep up to date on industry and engineering standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor ongoing training programs across the drafting team, monitor and assist drafting staff with software training and joinery detailing.
Ensure base level training assessment is achieved for all core activities.
Skills gap analysis is established and implemented across the drafting team, and appropriate training is prepared and delivered to meet clients needs.
Ensure a consistent application of coaching across the drafting team.
Ensure the regular monitoring and reporting of staff performance against clients KPIs.
REQUIREMENTS
An associate degree or equivalent experience.
With 2-4 years extensive joinery experience.
Strong knowledge and experience with training staff.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
A deep commitment to training people in the provision of drafting.
Sound knowledge of joinery, able to communicate with clients on best build.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Experience in preparing training manuals / tutorials an advantage.
Philippine Nationals only.
While the role is remote-based, the candidate must be living in the Philippines.
Bilingual skills in English and Filipino are required.
Good communication skills.
