We are looking for a CAD Operator to join our growing team in the Philippines.
As a CAD Operator, you should be able to create blueprints and technical drawings as per the instructions and specifications provided. Besides, you should also ensure that the blueprints adhere to the industry standards and safety guidelines.
You should be able to create plans and blueprints using various CAD software and technologies. Also, you should remain up to date with the latest advancements made in the industry.
To perform in this job role, you should have a detail-oriented approach and excellent researching skills. Furthermore, you should display excellent ability to work well under pressure. A proven industry experience in this area of work will be advantageous.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicating with Technical Manager to understand the project requirements and specifications.
Checking project briefs, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure it matches the said specifications.
Creating rough sketches and plans using CAD software.
Maintaining an online and offline record of all the daily activities.
Making changes or adjustments to drafts upon receiving feedback.
Ensuring all project designs and plans adhere to the industry standard and safety regulations.
Conducting in-depth research before working on the designs.
Mentioning instructions on blueprints using symbols and other special notations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a CAD Operator, Drafter, Draftsman, or a similar role in the Engineering department.
Familiarity with CAD and drafting software and tools.
Professional certification in drafting is advantageous.
Excellent drafting, technical, and mechanical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Having a keen eye for detail.
Impressive mathematical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Research-driven and motivated individual.
Ability to manage work pressure and strict deadlines.

While the role is remote based, the candidate must be living in the Philippines.
Bilingual skills in English and Filipino are required.
