Business Need/Purpose of Role:
ESCO is looking for CAD drafters to join our GBS Fabrication Team. We need drafters who will use their skills to produce precise and accurate drawings to support ESCO strategies. ESCO uses many world-class engineering tools and software to develop products. The ideal candidate will have a knack for learning and leveraging these tools to build high-quality products quickly in a collaborative team environment.
Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities:
Creating detailed fabrication drawings using NX software
Ensuring all drawings comply with the welding and Engineering standards
Layout and preparing assembly, sub-assembly, and plate drawings considering all design criteria
Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers
Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs
Coordinating with the design engineers to ensure timely and correct design, preparation, and release of drawings
Planning and organizing the complete drawing package for a design project to meet standards in engineering, manufacturing, and quality control
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Minimum requirements
Associate degree
At least 4 year's experience as a drafter or a similar role
The ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively work in a diverse team
Knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication
Understanding of GD&T
Expertise in CAD drafting techniques and engineering terminology
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background checks.

Preferred Experience
CAD drafting proficiency (NX preferred)
Mobile and off-road equipment design
Mining or Construction industry experience
Steel fabrication
Welded and machined structures experience
Hydraulic components and systems
