Roles and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the CAD Designer include converting sketch details & signage facade designs of architects and engineers into technical drawings and signage design presentations; adding details to architectural plans; preparing multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects & project managers; specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products; completing other related administrative tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
A Successful Candidate must have
- Knowledge of Architectural plans and building techniques
- Basic knowledge in structural detailing
- Keen attention to detail
- Project and time management skills
- Basic working knowledge using Adobe applications ( Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Proficient with
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
Experience Advantage
- Metal Fabrication drawing experience
