Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to Continued Airworthiness and In-Service Engineering tasks related to aircraft cabin, systems and structures
Communicate with the aircraft manufacturer and other OEM's for defect analysis, technical queries and improvements
Review, analyze and evaluate Airworthiness Directives (AD) to fully comply with the regulation
Review, analyze and evaluate aircraft manufacturer/OEM Service Bulletins (SB) and technical publications such as VSB, SIL, SL, TFU, AOT and OIT to provide engineering recommendation with utmost consideration to aircraft reliability and cost effectiveness
Keep and maintain working database of structural defects and repairs
Support aircraft daily operations by providing technical support and recommendations to solve faults identified on aircraft and its component relevant to aircraft cabin, systems and structures
Coordinate with operations different internal departments: Logistics, Planning, Quality, Maintenance Control and back office for the development and implementation of technical recommendation and programs
Provide support to departments internal and external business units requiring technical expertise related to aircraft cabin, systems and structures
Provide technical recommendations to ensure safe, economic and high dispatch reliability targets
Technical review meeting attendance, compilation, evaluation and presentation of reliability issues related to aircraft cabin, systems and structures
Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures required for the technical operation of the aircraft fleet
Assist the Manager in monitoring the team's key deliverables and ensuring KPI's for the team's core functions and tasks are met
Assist the Manager in managing the team's day-to-day operation
Job Requirement
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering
2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Aerospace industry with technical/engineering responsibilities
PRC license holder, and/or A&P license holder
Preferably with Airbus/ATR Aircraft Type Rating course
Excellent working knowledge with SRM, AMM, AMP, TSM and other OEM manuals
Well-versed in Aircraft Cabin Systems and Structures concepts and principles
Highly knowledgeable in the use of IT systems (AMOS an advantage) and advance knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, MS Visio and SolidWorks/AutoCadd or equivalent computed aided drawing application
Must have business acumen when it comes to aircraft reliability, performance and aircraft economics
Working knowledge of current requirements related to aircraft engineering projects
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
Must have an excellent communication skills and pays meticulous attention to details
