Job Description
Working for the VP Engineering you will be responsible for integrations to connect our platform to those of our customers and partners.
We replace the existing Search or Merchandising facilities for medium to large online retailers around the world. We need to synchronise data from whatever systems they have, into our core engine in an automated and error free way.
Additionally we are rapidly building a network of partners who are adjacent to us - providing complementary services to the same clients. We want to build API bridges between our system and each of our partners to create an ecosystem of inter operable solutions.
Demand is high and initially there will be lots of work for individual customers to get them up and running. Ideally you will start to spot patterns, particularly when the customers are using standard templates for Shopify or Magento for example. Here your developers brain will look for ways to reuse and automate to increase efficiency.
We are looking for a capable, trustworthy multi-tasker with good attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities, and strong communication skills to fill a diverse role. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and ambitious self-starter to join and grow with the company.
Qualifications
Experienced software developer with excellent knowledge of C# and Microsoft Azure App Services.
Experience working with data and translating it from one format to another without loss of fidelity.
Take pride the code you write and ensure it is well laid out, efficient and works efficiently and error free at scale.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a good level of numerical ability.
Proactive self-starter that works well under pressure.
Passionate about working in a start-up, with an interest in the tech industry and SaaS.
Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Great team-work and interpersonal skills
