Buying Team Associate
We are a fast-growing startup company that provides fashionable service to customers with personalized stylish items.
We are looking for an efficient, resourceful, and detail-oriented Buying Team Associate to join us in fulfilling the quickly-rising demands of our inventory needs.
Job Responsibilities
Fulfilling our inventory needs by ordering items in the required quantities within the required time frame
Interpreting data from our databases to forecast what to order and when
Creating order sheets and purchase orders based on current style and schedule requirements
Communicating with various suppliers during the order process
Organizing and coordinating delivery schedules
Organizing discrepancy reports on orders and communicating with suppliers regarding refunds and store credit
Perform other job-related tasks as required
Skills and Requirements
Resourcefulness and creativity in fulfilling inventory needs
Ability to grasp new processes within a limited time frame
Solution-oriented attitude
Keen sense of fashion and a good eye for quality
High attention to details
Expert in using Google Apps (docs, sheets, forms)
Familiarity with various databases
Can work independently with less supervision
Good tenure with past employer(s), minimum 1 year
Able to commit to tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
