The Business Sales Head shall play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients. He/she is expected to propose new initiatives, plans and programs to improve the effectiveness of sales acquisition by keeping abreast with market trends and monitoring competitors' activities. He/she shall also oversee the overall management of key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them. He/she will focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
Responsibilities:
Directs, monitors and leads the development of sales strategies, business plan, projects and budget in line with the company's overall objectives.
Develops, monitor and lead sales performance against pre-set KPI's in line with corporate strategy, and recommend corrective actions accordingly.
Proposes new initiatives, plans and programs to improve the effectiveness of sales in the different segments.
Keeps abreast with market trends and monitor competitors' activities.
Actively engage in building and maintaining strong relationships with key business partners.
Develops and maintains appropriate relationships with key contacts within business organizations to promote Sky's product offerings and identify new leads.
Develops trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
Acquires a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements, and expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
Develops and monitors the implementation of innovative methods to increase direct sales and business accounts, expand markets and promote business in the assigned areas.
Oversee and monitor contracts of all accounts.
Ensures sales segments' profitability and attain sales targets across the assigned areas, and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
Ensures the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Ensures resolution of issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Maintains appropriate relationships with third party agencies (TPAs) while ensuring contractual agreements are met.
Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates to follow up smooth running of activities and discuss their suggestions as well as adopt appropriate procedures and executive plans with respect to these suggestions.
Prepares regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Reviews all reports prepared by subordinates and prepare periodic reports and achievements to be submitted to the Skybiz Head.
Leads assigned team to meet the organization's expectations for productivity and goal accomplishment.
Coach, mentor and develop assigned team members, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning.
With Bachelors degree in in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or any related course.
Has 5 to 12 years of working experience in Business Sales including 3 years' experience in a senior management role within Business Sales, preferably in Telco or FMCG.
Has strong business sense and industry/area expertise
With previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success.
Has strong account management and relationship building skills
With proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
With proven track record of quota attainment
Has excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
