Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will gather, analyse, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns, then make recommendations for business actions.
What you will be doing :
Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
Assesses organization strategies by analysing related products, reports, or trends.
Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential improvements.
Writing data collection and processing procedures.
Ensuring that data is being correctly gathered, stored, and analysed.
Reporting data findings to management.
Continually monitor data collection.
Develop methodologies to improve data analysis.
Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve performance by analysing trends.
Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
What you bring:
Bacheloru2019s degree in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Broad knowledge of FISu2019 products and services, business practices and processes
Requires highest level understanding of organizationu2019s business systems and industry requirements.
In-depth knowledge of financial services industry practices, regulations, and processes
Advanced proficiency in at least one appropriate process methodology, e.g., ISO, Lean, Six Sigma
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
Excellent training/presentation skills to educate the organization on performance and recommendations.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
Strong business analysis skills.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Thorough understanding of the companyu2019s business processes and the industry at large.
Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
