Job Description
The role leads the business planning activities and business project development of Meats Division by coordinating and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide data driven analyses and recommendations on business initiatives. This includes (but not limited to) creating and presenting feasibility studies (market, technical or operational, financial, etc.), profitability models, research and studies that can deliver insightful, value-added analysis and decision support to the management.
The role is also expected to conduct due diligence, valuation and benchmarking activities for new businesses and projects.
On Business Planning
Works with the Business Unit Heads and external SMEs to consolidate inputs needed to build the feasibility study and business plan.
Analyzes proposed and existing business initiatives and projects to ensure the alignment of these initiatives with overall business objectives and strategy.
Assists in the coordination of the business planning activities of the division that includes identifying, evaluating, developing and executing new business opportunities, partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and other business prospects.
On Business Partnering
Oversees and contributes to the development and research of building on company strengths and capabilities - identifying potential new markets and business opportunities, increasing share of market, and obtaining a competitive position in the industry.
Regularly provide relevant business insights by reviewing and analyzing the business KPIs and market trends, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities that can impact future growth and developing proposed action plans to address these.
On Data Management and Business Intelligence
Works with Finance and AVPs for building and updating financial or product profitability models (whether pertaining to specific programs or products, or channels) based on a clear understanding of B2B/B2C businesses to support decision-making.
Responsible for building a database and repository of all information (market research and data statistics) and ensuring integrity of the data. Works with managers or business project teams in analyzing the information gathered to provide relevant and actionable inputs to the evaluation and implementation of business planning and projects.
On Business Project Management
Manage specific business projects from planning, execution, evaluation, and migration to business-as-usual activities.
Works with different point persons across the business unit to ensure deliverables are met.
Qualifications
Education:
Degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Studies or other related courses. A Masters degree is an advantage but not required.
Experience:
With experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning, and Data analytics
Senior-level management experience gained from FMCG, Retail or integrated Agribusiness industry
Experience or knowledgeable in Project Management Tools such as MS Projects, Asana, etc. (moderate to advanced Excel skills / moderate PowerPoint skills)
SAP S/4HANA
Other Requirements:
Strong business acumen and has proven experience working with cross-functional and project teams
