Job Description
· Collects, analyzes, and reports management data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and specific business performance issues
· Collates, models, interprets, and analyzes data (variances and trends)
· Identifies and documents enhancements to modeling techniques
· Prepares operations analyses, including analysis of competitors, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization, and makes recommendations for improvement
· Develops process analyses, designs, and simulations
· Requires a solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry and possesses strong analytical skills
· Provides statistical information to ensure the most effective utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials
· Performs analyses of the operation's cost elements to ensure effective and efficient operations
· May track, maintain, and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard
Qualifications:
· B.A. / B.S degree in Statistics/Math/data related field/business/economics
· Strong critical thinking skills
· Advanced excel skills
· Working knowledge of database structures and associated reporting platforms would be useful
· Strong communication skills required
