Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Handles data analysis specifically on sales, revenue, market information or customer engagement metrics of the company
2. Identifies trends that can help other departments make business decisions to modernize and improve processes in the organization
3. Client areas of revenue loss and identifies where improvements can be made to save company money and increase profits
4. Suggests possible solutions to fix issues that you find especially if they are tied to revenue loss
5. Compares data to competitors and industry trends
6. Implements programming, data modelling and statistics
7. Oversee the deployment of the data to the data warehouse
8. Develops policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data
9. Mines data using complex programs tools, software and data models to create visualizations that can communicate findings
10. Creates and discovers new data procurement and processing programs
11. Cooperate with IT department to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible to leverage big data use cases
12. Monitors analytics and metric results
13. Implements new data analysis methodologies
14. Reviews customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
15. Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
16. Ensures system compliance
