Overview
IBEX, a Business Process Outsourcing call center with locations across the Globe, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to be an integral part of the Corporate Planning team. The Business Analyst will have an active role in monthly GM reporting and analysis for leadership review and decision support. The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing and improving the collection of non CM information and the GM review processes.
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement and lead the process of weekly, fortnightly cost tracking to analyze the GM outlook.
Liaison with stakeholders to get the costs data on weekly basis and work with senior management to review the information for quick decision making.
Work with senior management to develop detailed targets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure strategic and business target achievement.
Own the end to end GM cost tracking process for IBEX GS, working closely with stakeholders from different regions and departments.
Lead weekly & monthly review cycles with all stakeholders and recommend course corrective actions in-line with known operational constraints on various forecast and control mechanisms.
Extract, deep-dive into, and manipulate data to identify root causes, and derive actionable insights.
Innovate and implement tools to drive business improvement and forecast accuracy.
Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability.
Liaise with business units to recommend and drive implementation of new productivity and cost saving initiatives, and prepare business cases to support strategic and other business decisions.
Create financial models for decision support.
Report on financial performance and preparation for regular leadership reviews.
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for optimization.
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other related field; MBA preferred.
3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must have excellent understanding of Financial Analysis and Reporting, and accounting standards and treatment.
Solid report analysis and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical aptitude and expertise including advanced Excel.
Familiarity with data query/data management tools.
