Oversee the development and communication of role definitions
Develop and regularly calibrate the performance objectives and KPI targets
Policies and Processes
Regularly review company policies and practices to ensure they are aligned with the company's strategic objectives
Ensure processes are in place and documented for all key functions within areas of responsibility
Ensure established company processes are followed by staff
Develop and adhere to operational budgets
Conduct a weekly one-on-one meeting with each direct report leader to:
Review and discuss the progress of their team (People Analyzer)
Ensure alignment of mutual expectations
Assess and improve job satisfaction
Build and oversee the Business Intelligence team including scoping out the needed team, responsibilities, processes, workflows, tech stack, etc.
Hire and develop a team of BI analysts to support all business departments
Democratize data, educate the org, and build up organizational skills and self-sufficiency around data and analytics
Work with business leaders to develop and maintain KPIs, metrics, reporting and dashboards that are trusted, clear, action oriented, and accessible
Partner with business leaders to answer important questions, evaluate business performance, and make optimization recommendations
Continuously improve and stay current in new BI technologies and platforms identifying emerging solutions, driving innovation and creative solutions to meet business challenges
Make analytics & insight deliverables accessible, actionable, and memorable
Supervise the delegation of non-core responsibilities to direct report leaders who are demonstrating proficiency with their core responsibilities

Requirements
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in any related field
With at least 3 years experience as Business Intelligence Director
Excellent communication skills with experience in communicating to diverse audiences
Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
Experience in business data modeling, metadata structure and business subject areas for key business processes
Demonstrable strong data analysis and data mining skills
Strong data visualization and integration skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Experience managing data warehouse and reporting infrastructure to help scale reporting needs while maintaining high-performance environment for reporting
Understanding of reporting and business intelligence best practices
In-depth knowledge and understanding of data governance best practice
A mastery of Business Intelligence concepts and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in business data modeling, metadata structure and business subject areas for key business processes
Experience of successful and effective application systems leadership and project management
