Accountabilities:
Leads resolution for data integration and reconciliation issues.
Develops and maintains documentation that supports standardization of data definitions, key business terms, data aliases, business standards, etc.
Facilitates cross functional meetings setting agenda, developing content, driving decision making and communicating results and actions.
Partners with leadership to implement robust KPI metrics to ensure continuous data quality improvement.
Leads data harmonization efforts for prioritized projects completing impact analysis and recommending a course of action.
Communicates to key stakeholders, provides training on data governance principles and data dictionary.
Oversees data lifecycle including operational and administrative management of data and overall data curation.
Communicates progress and risks with management, peers, and vendors to provide effective interdepartmental and intradepartmental management of data.
This role will be working in a group but more on a senior level guiding data steward.
There will be no specific reporting structure but will be taking the lead as he/she will serve as entry point into the data steward/consultant function.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education & experience is required with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS strongly preferred.
4+ years' experience in data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, and/or designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process preferred.
Familiarity with enterprise business systems including front-office and back-office solutions supporting common order-to-cash processes.
Verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to establish and cultivate relationships with key business partners.
Motivated to understand and keep current with relevant Industry trends and best practices, commercial Aptitude.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects along with recurring responsibilities and adjust to changing priorities with minimal leader input.
Ability to research data definition, usage and flow to gain expertise in existing systems.
Expert troubleshooting skills to investigate, resolve, and escalate problems. Identifies need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution.
Ability to summarize highly complex business cases, system information and concepts and clearly communicate to leadership.
Enterprise mindset with ability to balance flexibility vs standardization.
Understands and can apply key data stewardship and data governance concepts.
Data and business analysis skills, including strong documentation skills.
Understands how data flow in the system and how it impacts downstream system

Someone with Leadership experience
Intermediate Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI
Advance Proficiency in MS Excel
Project Management Experience, certification not required
For Internal Applicants, experience with MBS- master billing system is preferred
Knowledge with other business tools proficiency eg. SQL , they will need as they progress in the role.
