You'll own data extraction and modelling, build dashboards and reports, and partner with Finance / Ops / Product stakeholders to translate metrics into decisions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and operational reports (Power BI / Tableau / Looker / equivalent).
Write efficient SQL to extract, transform and validate data from OLTP/warehouse sources; support ETL processes and data pipelines.
Develop and maintain data models, metrics, and documentation (data dictionary, KPI definitions).
Perform ad-hoc analyses and present findings with clear recommendations to stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytics requirements and prioritize deliverables.
Monitor data quality, identify anomalies, and implement fixes and validation checks.
Support month-end and recurring reporting processes; propose automation opportunities.
Coach/mentor junior analysts and participate in hiring/peer reviews (if applicable).
QUALIFICATIONSMust-have skills & experience
4-5 years' experience in BI, analytics, data engineering or related role.
Strong SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).
Hands-on with a BI tool (Power BI preferred; Tableau/Looker acceptable).
Experience with data modelling (star/snowflake schemas) and ETL concepts.
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas); familiarity with Python/R for analysis is a plus.
Solid business acumen and stakeholder-facing experience; strong written & verbal communication.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice-to-have
Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
Knowledge of DAX, data governance, or CI/CD for analytics.
Domain knowledge in finance, e-commerce, or shared services.
