About the Role
The Community Affairs Officer internally known as Business Initiatives Consultant 2 will be responsible for representing the company in funding and or involvement in community sponsorships, volunteer activities and special programs to assure a high profile and positive image of the company's customer prospects, team members and communities served in moderately complex target market areas.
Responsibilities:
Involved in community development, environment and empowerment projects
Maintains relationships with community organizations & partners
Involved in funding the projects according to the budget, requirement and development of projects
Work closely with other functions like Risk, Legal, Communications, Supply chain management, finance etc. for internal transactions and requirements
Monitoring & reporting of projects, metrics to community affairs manager and leadership team as and when required
Organizes and facilitates internal events representing the function, facilitates outreach activities for TMs and liaise with Team member networks
Participation in external industry forums when required
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any program
Candidate must have at least 7 - 8 years of relevant experience in Community Affairs, preferably an NGO background
Working experience in Corporate social responsibility with companies that spend 2% on CSR mandate expenditure
Candidate must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Candidate must be willing to work at McKinley Hill, Taguig
