Business Development Manager Job Description:
As the Business Development Sr. Manager/ Director, your principal objective is to drive transformation through revenue growth and profitability among new business lines. You will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to lead and support high-impact initiatives that inform both execution and forward-looking business decisions. You will partner closely with Business Intelligence, Corporate Development, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to help expand our footprint with Healthcare customers.
Additionally, you will act as an advisor to executive leaders and teams by delivering concise analytical insights and/or execution plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Persistently drive new business, as well as expand current relationships with existing clients.
• Lead business development efforts to identify potential partnership and acquisition opportunities.
• Interact with selected accounts to find new markets or business opportunities in healthcare accounts.
• Develop a system for a new client/lead generation.
• Create and sustain cooperative relationships with our new clients to guarantee that we deliver committed outcomes.
• Consultatively engage with clients by learning about their value proposition and developing solutions that help them achieve better business results.
• Communicate efficiently with clients through phone, email, messaging, and webinars.
• Connect and perform strategic partnerships with clients via online or offline channels.
• Lay out a business strategy that includes the objectives, essential actions, targets, and measurements of success that the department will require to accomplish and surpass the organizational goals.
• Able to develop, grow and cultivate strong relationships with all client accounts.
• Strive to meet client's staffing needs by way of collaborating with all other departments.
• Oversee the efficient execution of well-defined, end-to-end business development plans based on the recent or upcoming transformation demands and requirements, as well as the leadership and support of our clients.
• Increase confidence and trust with both new and existing clients through tight collaboration and exceptional service.
• Develop and monitor KPI/metrics to measure the success of business development activities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the business's services, positioning, and competition to maintain business competitiveness.
• Strengthen internal connections with Sales Support and Client Services.
• Work closely with the team to develop presentations and proposals for client delivery.
• Pro-actively deliver insights and formulate business development strategies in alignment with the company's 3-5-year strategic plan.
• Maintain and support our key principles, rules, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and above, business or marketing-related major preferred
• 5-8 years of healthcare business development and account management experience
• Self-motivated and can handle extreme pressure on business lead generation
• Knowledge of HubSpot (CRM) is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS 365 Suite)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a diverse population
• Analytical thinking and proactive mindset
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented culture
• Excellent time management, organizational, and business management skills.
• Must have substantial sales and presentation experience with top-level decision makers (Executives)
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a spirit of cooperation
• Must have a strong attention to detail, productive and responsible, and be able to meet deadlines when
necessary
• Capable of working nights or graveyard shifts (following PST time), flexible with work hours, and willing to travel when necessary
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
